My suggest is that you don't have to worry much about what your followers want to read. The most important thing is to continue to publish contents of high quality and write about what you like. Your readers feels if you write with passion or not. For example, initially I have subscribed only technical blogs, but recently I use to follow and subscribe also blogs that make me fun. Last but not least, make a blog thematic is important too, because *contest is the king*, more than *content is the king*, IMHO.
